Candidate Mindy Pechenuk, for Oakland City Council At Large and also founding member of the Election Integrity Team of Alameda County California (EITACCA) released the following statement today.
" Earlier today, Wednesday, October 30, 2024. the United States Supreme Court in a 6-3 vote ruled that the state of Virginia can legally remove non-citizens from the Virginia voting rolls.
In light of the recent revelation that Alameda County Registrar of Voters Tim Dupuis has registered ‘Self-Confessed’ Noncitizens To Vote, it is time for Mr. Dupuis to "come clean," take heed of the Supreme Court ruling and to take action to clean up the Alameda County voter roles of ineligible.
Dupuis MUST REMOVE THEM NOW.
