With the Outcome of the Recall Elections of Sheng Thao, and Pamela Price no longer in doubt, last Monday, November 11, 2024 I threw my hat in the ring and issued a press release announcing my campaign for Oakland Mayor in the soon to be announced special election. Time to put the people of Oakland first!
Today, on November 19, 2024, I am outlining six reasons why I am THE MOST QUALIFIED to fill that position. Below, I am outlining why I am head and shoulders the best pick for the job. Though others who I am sure will announce and run have "bigger names," and "more money" than I do, they do not come close to having the qualifications to "clean up the mess" that many of these candidates were directly involved in making! Why support failures with "big names."?
In succeeding days and weeks, I will elaborate on each of these six points and provide all voters from the entire city of Oakland , the reasons why I am their candidate of choice. I am the number one choice for those who want to save this great city and give ALL of our children a great future. Make Oakland Safe and Productive Again.
Here are the six reasons:
1. I am the only candidate for Mayor, who publicly and fully campaigned for the recall of BOTH Mayor Sheng Thao and District Attorney Pamela Price. The vote on the recall of both was over 60 percent supporting each recall, hundreds of thousands of people.
I am in tune with them, others are not.
2. The Oakland Budget Disaster and On the Brink of Bankruptcy.
I am the only candidate with the knowledge and guts of the principles urgently needed to carry out a bankruptcy reorganization that will put the human and productive priorities of the City and ALL ITS RESIDENTS FIRST.
NO MORE FREE LUNCHES FOR THE BANKERS AND THEIR LOOTING SCHEMES.
3. The Dark Ages of the Drug Plague. I am the only candidate fully committed and publicly campaigning on wiping out fentanyl and the other drugs that have laid our city low. I am the only candidate fully ready to wipe out the offshore drug money and markets in close partnership with the Federal Government and President Trump who will fully support my efforts.
4. The Scam Known as the Green New Deal. I am the only candidate who fully and publicly exposes the gigantic waste of efforts known as the "green new deal" and is ready to bring back a robust manufacturing base into the City. That means skilled jobs for our residents and a productive tax base to support our necessary city services at full strength including police, fire, hospitals, ambulances, and health services.
5. The minds of our children and future generations. I am the only candidate who is a classical musician and teacher who is fully capable of designing and implementing programs in the city, which will contribute to the fruitful development of the greatest resource Oakland and evey other city has. We must cherish and nourish the minds of our children and act today to create a greater future for them tomorrow.
6 Finally, I am the only candidate who fully backed and played a leadership role in electing the President-Elect of the United States, Donald J. Trump. With me as Mayor, Oakland will have a very important friend- The President of the United States.
